Hide Photos and Videos from your Gallery or Video Player

I'm Nowshad Hossain Rahat and in this tutorial I will show you how can you hide any of your Files/File/Photo/Audio/Video and Folder from your Gallery,Audio/Video Player very easily without any other apps.😊

Sometimes we need some files to be hidden from our Gallery or Video players without deleting them or without using any other application.But is there any way to do this?🤔

Yes,there is and it's something like taking the advantage of android app's file scanning algorithm.Because Gallery or Video/Auduo Players doesn't scan the files with a DOT ( . ) at the beginning of the filename.😊😊 That means if there is any file in your storage with a name such as -  .FILE-NAME or .file-name then when the Gallery/Audio/Video Player scans all the file from your storage,the files with a dot at the beginning will not be scanned amd will be granted as nothing so these files will not be listed/showed into your Gallery or Video/Audio players but they will still availble and visible into your File Manager 😊

Okay,so now let's get started hiding our files ➡


# I will hide this folder "Wallpapers" from my gallery showing in the picture below




1.Open your file manager first




2.Select the File/Folder you want to hide.





3.Find and select the "Rename" option





4.Now just simply add a single "Dot" - (.) before the Name Of The File/Folder.





5.After adding the "Dot" save the name.





6.If the File/Folder Renamed successfully then check your Gallery or Audio and Video Player.
