What actually a "Search Engine" is?

Ans :- A search engine is a virtual machine by which we can find the most and most relevant results at a most significant time as the Search Query we made.

What is "Search Query"?

Ans :- Giving a command to a Search Engine to find the most relevant results as our given Keyword(s) is called a Search Query.

Now what is a Keyword?🤔🤔🤔

Ans :- The word(s),word phrase(s) we use in the search box to find something through Search Engins are called Keyword(s).

Now lets see how those virtual machines I mean Search Engines work to give us the most relevant results which matches with our given keyword(s).

How search engines find them? How they list them? How they can know what is exactly we are searching for?So let's find these answers....

Now we know what a search engine is?There is many greatest and latest search engines in the world. But the most used are among -

# Google

# Yahoo

# Bing

# DuckDuckGo

# Yandex

So now we also known about some of the most popular search engines.

But How they works?

Remember one thing that,a search engine complete a successful search query at Three Impprtant Steps.

1.Crawling

2.Indexing

3.Showing the most relevant results

🤔 Crawling :

---------------

When we command search engines to find the relevant results for our keyword, the first thing a search engine do that start scaning the whole database of it's own and discover billions of data.Search engine do this by a virtual machine called a "bot or spider" and process of getting all those data is called "Crawling".

🤗 Indexing :

---------------

After discovering all those billions of data or after Crawling, search engine starts collecting the most relevant results from those discovered/crawled data against the given keyword and starts listing those datas hierarchically as their perfect relevancy and the whole process is called Indexing. That means, search engine compare the discovered data to the given keyword. If the result is relevant then it collects these relevant data and again cmpare it to the other relevant data to check which one is the most relevant. Then search engine lists those most relevant data which is call Indexing. This prosess is done by "Search Engine Algorithms".

By indexing all the relevant datas, search engine place the most relevant data at the top of the SERP(Search Engine Results Page).

After Crawling and Indexing, search engine shows us the results we need.

So,hope you understand all the processes of of how a Search Engine works.
