# What is ads.txt

ads.txt (Authorized Digital Sellers) is an initiative from IAB Technology Laboratory. It specifies a text file that companies can host on their web servers, listing the other companies authorized to sell their products or services. This is designed to allow online buyers to check the validity of the sellers from whom they buy, for the purposes of internet fraud prevention.

1. Step 1:

Open your Google AdSense dashboard and click on the Fix Now button on the ⚠ error message like the screenshot given below.

2. Step 2:

Now a page will open into your browser,where you can find a dialogue box and inside the dialogue box,to the left bottom corner you will find a Download button.

Click on the download button then the ads.txt file will be downloaded to your system.

3. Step 3:

Now open the downloaded ads.txt file and copy all the text inside the file.

4. Step 4:

Now open your Blogger dashboard then click on the top right corner navigation button.

Then scroll down and click on the Settings.That's mean you have to open youryour blogger settings,then again scroll down and find the Monetisation block.

Now turn on the the switch like the screenshot given below and then click on the Custom ads.txt surrounded by the red box in the screenshot.

5. Step 5:

Now a dialogue box will appear and inside the dialogue box you will find a text input field.Now you have to paste all the text you copied from the downloaded ads.txt file inside this text input field and then click on the Save button and now you are done!✅😀

It will take some days to show the changes on your Google AdSense dashboard after you set the custom ads.txt in your blogger account.
